fyi, we only dined at such place once in a blue blue moon or when there's any celebration. and that night, we're actually celebrating my homecoming to penang, the island of freedom and civilization. 
we had 1 dozen of escargot, nina had a medium done minute steak, roger ordered a huge plate of seafood platter and i had baked fish. as usual, roger is never satisfied with only one meal and decided to order a banana split while nina and i both shared a chocolate temptation only.
after dinner, our shopping-for-dvds marathon begins. hubby suggested that we target a stall which is a few blocks away from the ship since his too tired to walk. WOOTSY TUTSY! rm4 for a dvd. we sapu a total of 16 dvds from that stall. with that, i'm gonna stay at home watching dvds throughout the entire holiday.
we walked pass a few stalls selling designer bags, batiks and those typical "welcome-to-penang/malaysia" stuff but it wasn't that interesting as our dvds. our night at batu ferringhi ended quite early with roger complaining that his being tired and nina had to rush back to bm.
